First of all, it’s no secret that I love cars. No sorry, you don’t quite get it… I LOVE cars and a passion for motorsports. So you can imagine my delight when Indiblogger contacted me and asked if I would like to preview drive of the lifestyle vehicle Tata Hexa, in Hyderabad.
Finally 60 top bloggers from all over the country got a chance to attend the Tata Hexa blogger drive event called #HexaExperience by Tata Motors on 22nd and 23rd October.
There is so much to share with you, my readers and will do it as it happened at the meet, while I relive those moments and put it down here to go back to the sweet memories later.
Myself and fellow bloggers from Delhi, traveled up to Hyderabad, then jumped in a white cab and whisked off to what seemed a very private and beautiful part of Hyderabad. We were greeted on arrival by the doorman and escorted through the beautifully decorated lobby by the concierge.
We quickly got our registrations done – collected our tags, bands and of course the blogger card! Soon left for a lavish buffet spread at the Square restaurant of the hotel.
The event started at around 7 pm with the keynote from Digital Marketing Head Mr. Ashish Sahani, Tata Motors welcoming the bloggers with “You all are the top 60 most influential bloggers in the country.”
Mr. Ashish Sahni, Vivek Srivatsa, Mr. Richard Winsor and Mr. Ravindra Jain started explaining the amazing features of Tata Hexa – vehicle Engine performance, new generation Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Torque on Demand (TOD), Instrument Cluster display and ambient lighting.
This is followed by a Question & Answer session and a drive briefing for the next day.
Post the presentation and briefing session, we had a gala dinner and cocktails along with socializing with others. Meeting the bloggers in person after knowing some of them over years, I mean almost 8 years! Learning quite a bit from experience sharing sessions to professional sessions.
The evening was filled with laughs by Biswa Kalyan Rath – the famous stand-up comedian, theme based drinks and caricature artists with their superb skills, who came up with funny caricatures with a couple of minutes.
My day 2 started at 5 am. After a quick bath and lavish breakfast at the hotel lawns, I with my two fellow bloggers, Upendra Swami and Ashwani Dodani, moved towards the car – experience of a life time. It was an on road 170 kms drive, experiencing both Manual and Automatic variants.
As you entered the car, you can sense premium sporty interiors with superb finishes, soft touch materials – further accentuates the plush feel of the cabin.
Tata Hexa is equipped with new-gen CONNECTNEXT Infotainment system. Utilizing Harman’s unique technology, the JBL branded 10 speaker system with high fidelity audio reproduction and harmonic richness, will transform the vehicle into an elaborate sound system giving a personalized theatre like experience.
Manual transmission version comes with 4 super drive modes, each offering a set of unique features and adds enhanced ride comfort & stability over different terrains.
Whereas the 6-speed automatic version has Sports and Auto sensing Race Car Performance, with manual shift option.
Hexa allows for seamless smartphone integration, giving access to highly personalized on-demand mobility services including NAVIMAPS App, Juke-Car App, Tata Smart Remote App and Tata Smart Manual App.
At around noon, I came back to the hotel from finishing my on road drive and queued up for the off-roading experience.
This is the time when you experience the masculine power and safety features of the HEXA. Tata Hexa is loaded with a comprehensive Safety Suite:
- 6 Airbags – Dual Front, side and curtain airbags.
- Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) – ESP with roll-over mitigation for driving stability and traction.
- ABS with EBD – ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution to optimize braking distance and ensure vehicle stability.
- Hill Hold Control (HHC) & Hill Descent Control (HDC) – Hill Hold Control (HHC) automatically activates, to prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards on up-hill drives. Hill Descent Control (HDC) controls descent on inclined surfaces.
- Traction Control System – Acts as a control system to prevent excessive wheel slip.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend two lovely days at Novotel Airport Hotel in Hyderabad – the city of Nizams. Event was packed full with treats for bloggers which were well received I’m sure!
If you sports enthusiast who has passion for cars, then must go for HEXA from Tata Motors! Won’t you?
